Why Start A Podcast?

The reason may be different than you think

I have always enjoyed a good podcast, whether it be interview style or the one-person shows that rant and rave about something that is going on in society. The medium of podcasting has taken on an entirely new dimension as it provides alternatives to listening. It has benefited me in ways that I cannot explain. I have learned from those more intelligent than me and have gotten many good reading recommendations along with the occasional insight into building a business.

It is a genre of entertainment that is definitely on the rise, and the opportunity for you to get in on it is inexpensive and easy. A podcast recorder and a microphone are the entry. A solid audio recording and you can be on your way to building the media empire. If you’re not interested in creating a media empire, may I suggest recording a podcast for yourself?

The benefits I have gotten from starting a podcast are beyond money, and notoriety, because I have neither. I have fun, and it allows me to think and speak out loud in real-time to figure out if my brain is even working correctly.
